The city wakes up. Alberto is already on his second delivery.

Alberto's story

Before being a courier, he is a father, a husband and someone trying to reach a future of his own.

Alberto, 33

Father of Fabrícia and Daniele. Married.

App delivery courier.

12 hours on the street every day.

Dream: to finish his degree.

This is the route nobody sees.

It is very early.

Alberto leaves at six.

There is a long way ahead. The day starts early and only ends after almost twelve hours of work on the streets of Brazil.

Alberto getting ready for a day of deliveries

The day's wheels do not fit on the screen.

There is little time left for anything else.

Stopping costs the place in the queue and the deadline, and there is not always a place along the route to the next drop. The restroom he knows is 3 km the other way, so it is two more hours holding on, stuck in traffic.

So he adapts.

There are many closed doors.

Gas stations, bus terminals, community centres and public places are disputed by everyone in the same situation, and often they are not available.

Alberto needing a restroom out on the street

Guentaí, support has arrived.

The detour turns into crossing the street.

Now Alberto can stop at a restaurant where he requested restroom access, a few metres from his next route, and use the place to have a proper lunch, something he does not do very often.

What your app gains

  • Retention nobody can copy

A bonus disappears in the next day's statement. A solved routine becomes preference.

  • An answer to a public demand

Restrooms for couriers is a union, press and city council issue.

  • Nothing to build

No venue onboarding and no local contracts. The network already exists and grows on its own.

  • You choose who receives

By city, by signup cohort or by campaign. Each list is its own campaign.

How to create the account and issue the vouchers

  1. Download the Guentaí app and complete the registration of whoever answers for the company.

  2. Sign in at portal.guentai.com with the same credentials from the app.

  3. In the portal, open Fleet, enter the company tax ID and attach the registration document. The legal name is filled in automatically.

  4. Once the company is approved, deposit the balance in Vouchers.

  5. Create the campaign, give it a name and an end date, and build the list of people, one by one or by CSV, with the amount for each.

  6. Start the campaign. The voucher becomes available to claim in the app of each person on the list.

The voucher is only handed out when the campaign starts, and it only becomes the person’s credit when they claim it in the app. Every claim and every use shows in the portal. Whatever nobody claims by the end date goes back in full to the company balance, and credit already claimed does not expire.

Two ways to pay, under the same account

  • Prepaid credit, by tax id

This is the voucher route. The company tops up, splits the amount and sends it to a list of tax ids inside a campaign. Whoever receives it redeems in the app and the balance sits in their wallet, with no expiry, to use at any Guentaí point.

  • Corporate account, on the company card

The company registers a card, adds the tax ids and sets a monthly cap per person. The card shows up in those people's wallets as another payment method and each access is charged right away, within the cap. The usage statement exports to PDF.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do we have to integrate anything into our app?

No. Registration starts in the app and the rest runs in the portal, in the browser. There is no SDK. If you want to automate it, the portal offers an API and webhooks, but none of that is required.

  • Does this create an employment relationship with the courier?

No. The person signs up on Guentaí on their own, as an individual, and the brand only recognises that they ride for it.

  • How do we prove someone rides for our brand?

For credit you do not have to: you send the list of tax ids from your own base. In the Support Network, Guentaí validates it with a screenshot of the account in the brand's app, a driver's licence and proof of recent trips.

  • What is the Support Network?

It funds the venue instead of the person. The brand pays a contribution to selected venues and unlocks free or discounted access for whoever rides for it at that point. The host sets the contribution amount and the app decides whether to accept.

  • Do we find out where the person used the restroom?

With credit, no: the company sees how much was spent, never where. With the corporate card, yes: every access paid with the card shows in the portal, with venue, date and amount.

  • Does Guentaí reveal who has an account?

No. When you type a tax id, the system does not tell you whether that id has an account and shows no name. Name and photo appear only after the first redemption.

  • Can we segment by city?

Yes. Each campaign is its own cut, with its own name, date and list, and reporting follows that cut.

  • Can a send be cancelled?

Before the campaign starts, yes, and the amount returns to the balance right away. After it starts, no, because the credit already belongs to the person.

  • Who adds the venues?

Any shop or well placed home signs up on its own and sets its own price. You do not onboard anyone.

The street will not get kinder on its own

But the day of whoever rides for you can get lighter, and your brand can be the reason.
